So I've been very conscious on checking the expiry dates of items I picked up while grocery shopping today. That's when I noticed this.........
Varying date formats on items I picked up! I live in the Philippines where the standard date format is mm/dd/yyyy which is the same format for the U.S.A. So if I'm going to read the expiry date on this product it will say January 12, 2013! Can it be that this local grocery store is stocking expired goods??? I hope not. I checked another brand and it has a date format of dd/mm/yyyy, I only figured it out because it was showing 25/07/2014.
I guess what my point is, products should at least be labeled correctly to say what the date format is. Otherwise it could cause a lot of confusion not to mention reduced sales. I immediately put down this popcorn because I'm not going to buy something that does not clearly say when the expiry date is.
